So I finally was able to get a gold nugget pleco after months of searching. He was classified as an L-81. His gold spots are really small. He is about 2 - 2 1/2 inches right now. As he grows will his spots grow ? Just wondering. I am happy either way since I was finally able to get one.....
He has been hiding out most of the day but pretty sure he comes out at night. Went to look at the tank last night and turned on a house light that isn't right over the tank and he was out....but went scurrying off as soon as the light came on...
