I picked up 5 of these little guys last week and was so impressed I went back to get 3 more. It is so interesting being able to see inside of them. Kind of creepy too. Apparently these are the albino version.
Those menacing black eyes will give you nightmares.
I'm surprised at how docile they are. They have taken very well to my community tank. I think they are becoming best friends with the Danios now. I constantly see them swimming together. It's as if the 8 Tetras and 8 Danios have split so that their are 2 groups of 4 each. The only time I see a solid group is when they are resting. Once the lights come back on though, it's pandemonium with no distinct "school".
Weird.
I guess it is a good sign though, as fish usually only school tightly when nervous or scared.
