K, so I have been doing this large water change where you replace 1/5 of the water every day for a week. I realize now, that that is too much.
They have been spending most of their time in the hidie house thing
You can see it in this photo of my fish tank (its on the left)
Sometimes i will see them in back of the house hovering above the gravel.
What's going on? :bawl:

How long have you had the tank? It is fully cycled? What are your water parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate)? <--- very important. Are you using a dechlorinator when you change the water, if so which one?

That is not too large of a water change. As mentioned parameters and other information would be helpful.

As long as the change water is parameter matched (temp in addition to composition), a water change should not cause problems. <I have done up to 100% in an emergency.>

A lot more info, esp. water parameters & history of the tank & fish, would be helpful.
