I honestly can not tell from the picture. What type of goldfish is this? Can you also post side view and top view pictures?

Sorry I meant koi...I think it may be a female, I'll work on getting side and top views, it is hard as it swims so fast.

Looks like a male to me in the bottom pic, but not really clear enough. Top and side views won't be conclusive. If you can get a better view of the vent with the pelvic fins out of the way, it would be easier.
