Do you feed your pleco anything special?

No mainly I've just let him get the extra food left over. But recently I've added little peaces of baby carrot in the tank and he loves it so do the others.

Thanks Jess! They have really changed in just one short year hey? You going to post any of your babies on here?

Do you know how hard it is to get pics of these guys?!?! Lol! Here's a few- Ill post some more! :)

I know how hard it is! Lol

What beautiful babies you have! I can't believe the hump on your Ryukin! That is crazy! I often wonder if Bruiser is a true Ryukin as his hump isn't quite so pronounced as some. Love your white and orange telescope too. So pretty!

I posted this on another thread but just in case anyone is in doubt about how big these guys can get, I snapped these pics a few weeks ago when i had to do some tank work and move some guys around for a bit. Its of my 'baby' moor above (he's the size of a big tangerine) next to my favorite monster moor nymph posted above (who is about 12in long with 12+in tail when spread out).

Wonderful, robust looking fish! Is that Water Hyacinth in there? What kind of lighting are you using? I can only grow it outdoors in the warmer months and my Comets would munch on the roots.

Wow, such gorgeous fish pics posted while I was at work.

All you guys make me want a moor, but I have no space for another tank. I keep walking around the house with a tape measure to see where I could put a 55.

I know what will happen...Petco will have another dollar a gallon sale, and I'll have a 55 hanging out of the trunk on the way home, wondering what I'll ever do with it.

JLK those are gorgeous!!! How do you clean sand without it getting sucked up in the hose? I need tips! Lol

What size tank is the moor nymph in? I'd love mine to grow that big one day! :)

Yep, theres water hyacinth and water lettuce everywhere right now! The hyacinth will only grow under T5HO lights but the lettuce is more forgiving and even survives under T8's. Everyone nibbles at the roots or they would be 2ft long! :)

Woo-hoo!

Blondie and Gypsy let me have good portraits of them today.

This is Blondie.

I love moors I'm not sure why but there is something about them that makes them my favorite. Maybe it's their eyes haha
