Wanted to first thank you all for the great posts that I have been reading.
Just set up my 2 saltwater tank. Had one 8 yrs ago but lost it during the 3 hurricanes that went through central Florida.
Have been dying to get back in and bought a 75g that had been running for 4 years. It has some issues but I enjoy bringing it back to great condition. Good thing for me were that water parameters were good. There was lots of live rock (also a lot of base rock) and a deep live sand bed (although not maintained very well).
It's not exactly what I wanted due to the fact that it is not drilled. The HOB overflow box and syphon thing scare me but so far so good!
I have about 5 yrs of experience with my other reef tank but do not profess myself to be any type of expert. I hope to be able to add some experiences that I have had, gain some more knowledge and make many friends along the way.
Thank you guys for a great site.
