So yesterday I noticed right before I went to sleep my amano shrimp molted his shell and then at night my amanos only two or three came out and when I shined a flashlight on them they flew ack into a dark spot are these shrimp sensitive to 13 watt fluorescent bulb?

How do I get my amano shrimp to come out someone answer please.

They need safe areas to hide. Make sure fish aren't picking on them. They need to get used to your tank. Of course a flashlight will scare them.

I use a black background. Lots of plants , driftwood and a few floating plants. My Shrimp are much more liable to come out when they settle and feel secure.

I've had Amanos, RCS and CRS
