Got a new filter

I had a topic about getting a new cansiter filter.. well it arrived today and i have set it up and am running it along with the old filter..

Im beginning to think the fish arent liking the addition of the new filter they r hiding the angels have gone to one corner and the barbs r hanging around the middle.

The current is alot stronger.. nothing else has changed just adding the new filter.

Is it normal for the fish not to be happy? And will they adjust?

They will usually adjust just fine. They just tend to freak out a little when there is a big change like that in their environment.

What is the total flow you have going through the tank now as well as the tank size?

When the water flow change direction or strengh the fishs won't be happy for the first days, they need to adapt to the "new environement"
