So I have a honey gourami that has been fladhing in this one part of the tank. He is the dominant fish in the tank and I was wondering if a fish can be flashing as a show of dominance? I remember hearing that somewhere.... Also, he has a white stripe and on the edge of his anal fin and some white dots that definitely not ick. He has had this ever since I got him... I was thinking it could be fin rot, but I've never heard of flashing as a symptom. I had three fish die recently over about 3 months. Two died from dropsy and one had a bent spine but no other symptoms of tb and I think it was a genetic defect but I'm not sure. All of the fish were quarantined. I never really found out what the sole problem was. Any advice on why my gourami is flashing Would be great.
