Anyone know how to calculate the gallon per hour flow rate of the siphon gravel vacuums??
I was planning on using my 11554 Ultra GravelVac® 9" Small, Self-Start w/ Nozzle & Clip as my "overflow" for a DIY sump on my 10 gallon. I can also slow the flow down by packing the nozzle with poly filter media.

I have no idea but question...how are you doing the DIY sump and how big? We both started 10g nano around the same time so I thought I'd ask.

I am doing it for the practice at DIY :)
I realize there is no need for it, but doesn't mean it shouldn't be done... it would add more water volume, filtration and all the same benefits as for a larger tank. Just want to see if I can do it really.
@ Grizz - Thank You :)
@ KantGetRite - It is a silly mess around for the fun of it DIY, will add about 4 gallons total and really isnt necessary or probably worth the trouble. I do these things just for fun and to see if I can lol
