Over the past couple of months, I've noticed a green-colored algae that's growing on a piece of bogwood in my 29. Recently, I've noticed that, when the tank lights come on at 8 am, some of this algae is orange. Over the course of the first hour that the lights come on, the algae slowly turns from orange to green. (I'm assuming that this is a photosynthesis thing.) Does anybody know what type of algae this is?

This tank has been cycled and stocked for over a year. Parameters are pretty steady: No ammonia or nitrite spikes and nitrate is 10-20 ppm. I do two or three 20% WCs per week. I have no idea what the phosphate level is. Tank pH is 6.8-7.2, depending on the season and water change schedule. The water is very soft. My lighting is a standard T8 bulb and this algae is growing a good 15" below the top of the tank.
