Green Babaulti Shrimp?

i just recently ordered 10 green babaulti shrimps from bobstropicalplants and many were not green. more like brownish and looked like neocardinas. can anyone tell me if this is normal? will they get there color back? are they possible neocardina shrimps by accident because i dont want them to breed with my snowball shrimp? how can i breed the green b. shrimp to a healthy colony?

in quick reply, click go advance, below the box for typing is a section that say manage attachment. You can link pictures from your computer from there.

They can vary quite a bit in colour. You'd have to selectively cull the broods to get fairly consistent colour in them, as is done with cherries to get all the Neo colours that are available now.

They don't cross breed with Neos. They have a very different head from Neos, longer and pointy.. check the heads if you think you were shipped Neos in error.
