green spot algae

How do I go about on removing this? It's a huge pain and it's only in the back side of my tank where I can't reach unless I use a long scrub brush which takes forever. Any help?

A credit card or razor blade is the best way, IMO.

I agree, a credit card will do wonders for removing the stuff.

From what I understand to intense light causes GSA. Don’t quote me on that, maybe others will chime in and know for sure.

I've read about that too. And the credit card thingy works, got some of it off

Low phosphate levels, low CO2, lack of water flow, and too long a lighting period can spur GSA out breaks according to: James' Planted Tank - Algae Guide

It's either the lights or phosphate levels. Everything else is good.

If I bet on lights everytime someone had an algae problem, I would have have some serious money right now.

But yes, phosphate dosing and lighting issues, especially lighting period. How long are your lights on?

Lights are on from 11:30am - 8pm. I'll cut back two hours.
