I was wondering if putting plants such as anubias in a pot with organic soil and sticking it on a window sill would allow it grow?

My other concern would be if the rhizome could be placed under the dirt. Thanks!

im pretty sure anubias is actually a bog plant tht normally grows abovewater, but will also live underwater.if thats true, then it should be fine. not sure about teh rhizome

Yeah, I thought most commercially raised plants were grown above water. Not sure though.

Most plants are grown emerged, much easier to control algae that way. I have never done it but I know it can be done and mny people do it.

Good to hear. Do you know of any references I might look at to get started?
