gtc question

I have two gtc and i dont know if they are males or females or both, but today they started tail finning eachother and one looks like its convulsing after they do this........any answers to what is going on?

Are you talking about Aequidens rivulatus? If so it really could go either way in terms of behavior, could be showing dominance or mating. What size are the fish?

2 inches........and i dont know the scientific name.

If gtc means green terror then your probably seeing aggression, they're not mature until the 4" range.
