Anyone know what this is? These hair like tentacles/arms stretch out across my sand periodically. It collects debris so i havent worried about it too much. And don't seem to cause harm to corals. They are smooth like hair, not brittle star like.
It moves around too, but have never seen it do it. It hides its center deep into the rock, do I've never seen its body. If I try to touch to arms they retract very quickly into the rock. There is probably 20ish arms that come out from the center. Some short and some are really long 10-12 inches.
