Hand made breeding trap

Plastic paper wrapped and stitched with cotton wire. I inserted an air pump and tiny perforation to allow water change.

I can watch closer the small fishes grow and give them more room.
When Can I mix the small fishes with the bigger ones?

i like your idea
from what i know when theyve doubled in size, pretty much when they cant be eaten. i am new to this

lol either your fish is susing out your contraption or is staring the fry down

For better growth/health the use of a smaller tank like a 10-20g is a better option, then into a 29g-40B to grow out further until they hit the 1.5-2"' mark.
