Hey, just joined this. My dad has kept a few tanks in the past, I've had nothing more than a ten gallon and 5.5 gallon betta tank. About to be getting a 75 gallon. If anyone has any advice on cichlids I posted a topic in the cichlids discussion area, would love to get some advice from people.

Thank you,
Nigel

Cichlids are very aggressive but sometimes does best with other cichlids.....They grow wild so get yours small so that you can have time with them before you have to get rid of them cause their so big....If you get them small, have some sort of live plants....Feed them well...Flakes, fresh veggies, bloodworms are good....

GOOD LUCK

I'm leaning more towards African cichlids. Wouldn't 75 gallons be enough to house them for their entire life?

Haha it's okay. I actually found out today I'm going to be getting 180 gallon anyways.
