The second picture is this brownish red hair looking algae

Looks like red turf algae to me. Points to nutrient issues in the water column. There are links to assisting with this in my signature.
I've read that turbo and nerite snails will eat it, though they won't in my tank. Adding livestock isn't a fix, only a bandaid, to the issue at hand.
Algae issues can be a long drawn out battle. Just keep at it.
