Help! Alpha Male Domination!

Saturday I bought a school of 8 silvertip tetras. Today I was watching them and the Alpha Male chases every tetra that comes to the middle of the tank back in to hiding! What do I do? It is no fun to watch a tank where you can only see one fish! I am kind of freaking out....

They are most likely just establishing a pecking order. If this doesn't stop maybe add another two to try to reduce the pecking if you have room in your tank that is.

Have they stopped pecking at each other.

Give it a week and see if the establish their hierarchy. Adding a couple more as mention will help them rearrange the shoal and spread the aggression.
