Help betta is stuck straight up and down. And won't swim.

I have had my betta for 2 years and he has been doing great. But for the past week he has not been able to float horizontally only vertically. Now he is stuck at the bottom and losing a little color what should I do?

Have you tested your water to see if anything is elevated that shouldn't be? Is the tank heated? Has he eaten recently?

Your poor betta may have a swim bladder disease.

The tank is heated he hasn't eaten for a few days and I don't currently have a testing set.
