See picture.... This green algae has cropped up over the past few days and has taken over. Now our fish our dying. We've lost a powder Brown, a diamond watchman govt and our yellow tang is looking bad. Does anyone know what this is or how to get rid of it?

TANK INFO:
125gal reef tank, Pair clowns, Yellow tail damsel, Yellow tang, cleaner shrimp, assorted snails and crabs.
Kenya trees, blue mushrooms (2-3 weeks old), pipe organ, clover, star polyps, button polyps
Water parameters: All normal except Ph low at 8.
Water temp between 80-82 degrees. No heaters running, just stays that warm.

It's hard to tell in the lighting, but it could just be algae. Please double check ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. Ammonia and nitrite need to be ZERO. Nitrate you should keep under 10ppm in a reef. I don't think what you're seeing on the sand is the problem, but may be caused by the same issue you're having with the fish.

What kind of filtration and flow do you have in the tank?

How are your corals acting?

Have you added any new livestock recently?
