Help me id these fish

Just it them at my lfs had no name on the display tank and got them for 1.99.



Some type of tetra or barbs?



Heres another pic. Kinda fast hard to get a good pic.

looks like a Rosy barb to me

eta - it's hard to see the black spot with the water mark on the pic but..

I'm pretty sure they are rosy barbs, I have just never seen any that shiny.....

They almost have an iridescent shine to them with the light. And they do have a black dot towards the tail fin

yea rosy barbs are pretty iridescent. I find the tank lighting at pet stores really bring it out a bit more too. If you do a quick google search for them you can see some of them really shine. Very nice looking fish. Rarely carry them in my local store.

Metalic rosy barbs are also known as red glass barbs or neon rosy barbs.

Yeah I have never seen them either Just the plain, non-shiny ones.
