Help me identify this peacock

Anyone know what kind it is and possibly the sex?? I know it's a peacock

Otter point or eureka red jacobfriebergi. Male for sure.

I think eureka red also but I think female as anal fin has no white dots and also she matting one if my boys !!

What size is he/she? if you have seen it holding then yes it is a female.

She is about 3 1/2 to 4 inch and I haven't seen her hold yet but I think it will happen soon

Male German red would be my guess

+1 for the German red. I really think it is a male. The females are brown/grey and don't display fins like that very much. Too much color for any female I've seen

I originally thought it was male also but I find her dancing and mating with a bigger male everyday. So now I'm just confused but I'm waiting to see her holding eggs to know for sure?!

The "dancing" may be signs of dominance and/or aggression.

Defiantly not a female, and eureka red is my best guess as well. The behavior your describing sounds like aggression to me.

Male eureka red jacobferibergi. Females will not get that blue in the face. That is only a male trait. Defiantly male.

Ok I did some close watching and it is similar mating but did look different.

How about this sunshine peacock I was sold to me as a male but never shown more color than these pics!! I think maybe female!?? What do you think?? Oh and it's 2.5-3"
