help my water has turned rainbow coler on top with white things floting around

Have you added any chemicals it may be a reaction between 2 of them

Is it just the surface of the water that has the oil sheen on it? If you reach into the tank without washing your arms and hands well your body oils will collect on the surface. Bio film and dust will also develop in tanks with little surface movement. It's natural and harmless.
