OK, I’ve filled my tank, and set up the Eheim 2026. Now I have a question about the flow & the flow indicator. I used the recommend filter media, and pads, I’ve tuned the overflow correctly, however it seems like the flow indicator is not going as high up in the window as it should, and that the filter does seem to not be pusing out as much as my old Fluval 304. The indicator is covering 2 of the bars while the adjustment is pushed all the way back to the hoses.
I made sure the top filter pad (fine) was on top of the handle in the top basket.
Does anyone else’s 2026 show the indicator like this?

I’m unplugging the filter until I know what, if anything is wrong.

Thanks,

I heard that saw people can't see the pics.
There isn’t the white ball in the indicator the way the box shows. It’s a red cylinder that has a spring attached to it.
Sorry about the pic. If you go to http://briefcase.yahoo.com/tazcrash69> and click on the 2026 folder, either picture will show you what is happening.

Ok, so when I primed, I saw an air-bubble go up and down from the canister up the intake hose, back into the can. Is that normal? Shouldn’t it have been pushed out the outflow? It didn’t

Also, I took out all the media, and ran it with the same results. I also disconnected the overflow, and the spray bar, and have the very same flow showing in the indicator.

Thanks

Never Mind, I took apart the flow indicator, and it was going as high as it could. I just thought it stange that it covered half the window with a red indicator

thanks
