Hey folks, so essentially I've decided to take the plunge into the saltwater world. I'll try to keep it short. 99% of all my fish knowledge is in freshwater and up until now I've only ever had fresh water. Attached is a picture of my nano reef tank, a work still in progress obviously, but I just wanted to see if there was anything wrong with my setup essentially. Note that I haven't added any corals or fish yet. My main questions are:
1.) Can I use the internal power filter I have in there now? It's only a ten gallon tank.
2.) When you set up a new fresh water tank, you have to introduce beneficial bacteria. Is there anything like that I need to do for this saltwater set up?
Thanks so much in advance, and I know, I have a really small tank and that's bad for saltwater and whatnot, but I didn't want to throw myself into the "saltwater world fire" if you will.
