Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of any battery powered heaters for a 29g size tank?

We had a bunch of bad snow (central PA) and we haven't had power since early yesterday morning and it doesn't look like its going to get fix for a while.

So my poor fish are without lights, filtration, and HEAT! My dad has a space heater going in the room and we rapped the tank with blankets. I normally have the tank at 78 degrees but its dropped to 75.

Any help please?

Thank you!

You need to stir the water in order to agitate the water's surface as well, as dissolved oxygen levels can get dangerously low as well, especially if the tank is highly stocked.

If you have hot water (gas water tank), you can fill a soda bottle with hot tap water and add the bottle to the tank.

im in state college and thank go we didnt lose power just the use of the elevator.
