Ok, so a couple of weeks ago I got a pair of peacock gudgeons. 1 male 1 female. Yesterday they disappeared under some driftwood alllll day. I wake up this morning and only the female is out and about. I'm pretty sure they were breeding yesterday and today the male is staying with the eggs?
They must've spawned in the tiniest of openings because I can't even find them.
Anyway, I have never had fish spawn before so I have a few questions...
1. Should I look for the eggs to move or leave them?
2. Would they be fine to hatch in my tank and have the majority survive?
3. How long until the eggs hatch?
They are currently in a 29 gallon planted tank with 11 harlequin rasboras, 1 male betta, 1 red tail black shark.
Any other info would help!!! Thanks!!!
