Hi ppl
Im glad i have found this forum, hopefully experts on here can guide me through my marine start up tank. I have previously had tropical but couldnt resist trying marine.
I have recently purchased a resun dms 500 nano tank ( second hand)
please can i have some advse as to what goes in each compartment at back of tank. I gather pump goes in part 3, maybe heater in 1? also do i need a filter as im thinking of having live rock and heard this is not necesssary?
Also do i need a protein skimmer? the man who i purchased this off said he did not and did regular water changes. if i should have one where do i put this and what model is best for such tank?
