Get all of your time and moneys worth out of that macaryn.
Hholly said:Oh, so sorry. I know you are an excellent fish keeper. You just had some crappy luck. Sometimes Nature just takes control despite our best efforts. I wish I could advise you. Wishing you well.

NOT GOOD!!! I thought I was outta the woods and the worse case yet!!! Should I go tomorrow and get more Maracyn Two? What do I do?!???!
I'm gonna lose them all aren't I?!?!
This may be it for me. An all time low has set in! My heart just sank! I was really feeling good about myself like I accomplished something! Like I did it!! Like I saved them!! NOPE!!!
Is this columnaris? Has to be right?!? Open sores blood on the towel and in the ice. Just terrible!!!
I don't know if I can do this anymore!!! I was feeling good, getting my SW tank setup and now I don't even wanna do that!!
Do I keep treating? Or just salt now? I'm calling the company anyway to see what they say.
UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll run out at first thing in the morning of I have to and get some more.
Mumma.of.two said:I'm not 100% but I think you need to leave a few days between treatments. See how they go without it. I'd suggest a PWC every 1-2 days and salt for now. Someone else might have another suggestion.....
Hholly said:In my fish disease book it shows bacterial hemorrhagic septicemia, that looks similar to what yours have. It suggests antibiotic food, and adding nifurpirinol or antibiotics to the water. It says large fish can be injected with antibiotic and topical antiseptic (veterinary iodine or betadine) applied to any obvious lesions. Salt in the water is also recommended. Sounds like you could try more antibiotics.
Hholly said:Maybe an exotic vet.
Hholly said:Fingers crossed...
