Help With Algae

not sure what this is, but its growing on the plants and decorations- any thoughts or help to get rid of will be appreciated.

That's BBA. You also have GSA on your glass.

Translation: You need more CO2.

What kind of light do you have?
 
In another thread, the OP said that they had the timer set from 7a to 9p... that would explain how BBA could be present under such low intensity lighting.

I'm still curious as to whether the plants are fake or real.. they look very much like the ribbon plants sold in tubes IMO
 
just changed the timer on the light, the plants are real- what should we do to clean up the algae?
 
we cleaned the tank about 3 weeks ago and so far no more algae. the tank looks and water tested just fine. on the other hand we finally put the goldfish from the 10 gallon tank in the pond- there all gone but the frogs are happy......now to visit the pond forum.
