It does look pretty cool in that different way kinda like how some love a furless toothless tounge hanging out the mouth dog. Neat fish? Looks like a flounder

So far I have read they need live food sources such as brine shrimp and need brackish water and once matured they need a full marine setup

Yes saltwater. There isn't much available on them really other than that they are very hard to feed
