I am completely new to the fish keeping and eventually i want to grow tilapia, but for now, i want to start out with one beta fish for my bedroom

Dont tell my wife you can grow tilapia in a tank. She will have me keeping them so she can eat them.

Bettas are a lot of fun. The only issue with the fish tank in the bedroom is low water trickle noise. I always kept a "water" bottle of distilled water in the cabinet to add any time it was making noise!

Are you looking ahead to keep them in a hydroponics type set up or in a pond??
