ho to keep beefheart from breaking a part

every time i feed my discus beefheart, itbreaks a part very fast into small little peices. it gets everywhere. sometimes it flys around my tank for hours before i could see a clear tank. could it be because i have a barebottom tank or is it how i make the food. whatever it is ? does anyone have any advice to help stop this mess.. thanks

Ok beef heart will always do thid it's very dirty do you feed cubed or sheet form? You can get a feeding cone and give that a try it may take time for them to take to it.. good luck
