Hey guys! Okay so I have a 36 gallon bowfront with a marinland HOB filter. I also have a remora skimmer (looking to upgrade eventually), but what I want to know is tank has been up and running six months and all water parameters are fine nitrates 0, nitrates 0, calcium fine, phosphates 0. All my corals are doing great. So can I take off the HOB filter or should I leave it on? I keep hearing so many different opinions and to be honest I am getting ready to build a 150 and I HATE  the HOB filter. Please help!

Thanks so much you guys are great!

I have used a hob as a mini fuge in the past remove the media and replaced it with cheato never had issues just had to replace macro once in a while
