Hospital Tank Question

Hey guys. I am setting up a hospital tank for a Lemon Jake Peacock that got his butt wooped. My main question is what is the protocol for water changes on a hospital tank since they arent cycled because of medications. Everyday? Once a week? Any other hospital tank tips would be helpful. It is a 10 gallon

If the tank is not cycled, test daily and do wcs as needed. Ideally, your fish needs pristine water to heal so this needs to be addressed first and foremost. Meds are not necessary if he is simply injured and needs some time to recover unless there is another issue that needs to be addressed. Please ask if you have questions!
