How long before you know if an acclimation works?

Ok so I used the drip method, and 12 hours later, my moray seems to be ok. He has found his caves in the tank that were set up fpr him, and he is exploring.

The question then is, how long does it take to find out if he will be ok in the sw tank? Would I already know from the time he was in the acclimation tank? He did fine in there...

IMO it takes a few days for new livestock to settle in and get comfortable. As far as the acclimation working, if he is out and exploring I would say you are in the clear.
