How many goldfish in how big of a tank?

Hey everyone! I have a friend who wants to keep goldfish but I haven't kept these before so I wanted to ask here. So she wants to keep 1 Black Moor goldfish and 2 Fantails. Her LFS will sell them to her as fry. How big of a tank should she get and what filter? Thanks.

I would say a 40b would be a good choice tank , about 10g for each fish and room for one more ,

40b or a 36 would work until they grow up, I'd go to a 55 after that. Leaves room for additions and easy maintenance.
