How many otos?

I have a 29 gal with 4 white skirts, 13 neons, 3 Corycats, and 5 guppies. I want to get a few otos and know they like to school but I can't find what the ideal is. The guppies will be moved to another tank eventually but I'll be using the 10 gal they were in as a quarantine tank. The last time I got 2 otos they were infected with ich and I lost them and over half my stock. So I don't want that to happen again.
So my question is. How many otos is ideal in a school?

I have 3 in my 29. I would get more corys. I would never keep less than 5. Any less and they arent very active

I have 6 otos in both my 55's and agree you could do with a couple of extra corys they are fab little fish and IMO love to be in a group, I have 5 panda and 4 peppered and they all sleep in a pile inside a barrel very cute.
