Aquarium Advice Addict
Hello,
I meant to ask this question earlier along with one of my other posts but I forgot.
We have a betta fish and he is going to be in a tank with some pygmy cory cat fish eventually. It is a 10 gallon tank.
We were going to get 4 of the cat fish minimum, but would 5 cat fish (plus the betta) be okay, or would that be too much for the tank to handle?
I know 6 of them is generally ideal, but, I think that may be too much for the tank to handle.
Also, the tank has about 2" of sand on the bottom so that takes up some room. I know they like to shoal and be in groups, so we need at least 4, but I was wondering if 5 would be okay
