I've got loads of staghorn algae growing on my vallisneria.
Small clumps of algae growing on my elodea.
My java moss seems to get brown fuzzy stuff growing on them.

Am I adding too much light or fertiliser or carbon dioxide?

24 gallons and 36 watts in lighting.
JBL Ferropol once a week and JBL Ferropol 24 every day.
CO2 reactor from that yeast and sugar method.

Here are each species of plants:

I'm pretty sure this has been at least partially addressed. You have direct sunlight going into your tank, that will give you lots of algae.

H2O2 or excel spot treatments work well. Unplug everything (filter, heater, light, etc.) and squirt H2O2 or excel onto the heavily affected algae areas. Use 1 ml/ gallon of tank water total. Be careful because some plants like valisneria and crypts will melt. Generally lowering lights/light duration, increasing co2 and excel will almost always help.

^ +1. Reducing lights & Co2 increase alongwith excel[ferts included], almost always works. But that's a quarter of the battle won. The biggest battle is to find the right balance that would work for you. Every tank is unique in its own right.

I had that same problem I got three siamese algae eaters
