How to work out how many litres/gallon a tank is

Hi I've acquired a tank from a friend but unsure of the capacity of water it will hold. Measuring it is :

24 inches in length
14 inches in depth
12.5 inches width

Can anyone work this out for me please ??

Can you tell me the amount of flow I will need for a filter for this tank please.?

Maybe a Fluval C3 or AC30... something along that line
