I finally figured it out!

I have 2 cories but they've never been still and close enough together for me to figure out if they were male or female . I looked in the tank and they were both resting on the bottom next to each other and it seems I have 1 male 1 female. IMG_6655.JPG

The photo may be too small to see them on the brown gravel but am I correct in my assumption?
 
how can you see that they about blend in with the pea gravel , took me almost 5 min just to find them lol . maybe thicker glasses
 
yeah, it's hard to see them unless they're moving around, which they are crazy active almost all the time, this is the first time they both lay down on the gravel next to each other.
