I have a 90g tank with a fluval 405 its rated for a 100g I just got a rena xp4 for cheap so can I put to different canister on my tank for more better flow to help keep my tank cleaner

Of course! There's never too much as over filtration, as long as you don't have any fish that are sensitive to currents

The more the better (within reason) IMO! I have a 1000L/hour canister on my 65L tank
