Hi...bf bought a pictus catfish as a surprise ........hmmmm I saw a small amount of salt grain spots once I acclimated him in my 55 with my rts and Rubberlip pleco....so I watched for about 10 minutes to see rts behavior and it wasn't good.....so we decided to scoop, bag, and return...so now should I do anything now like pwc just in case or just wait and watch for signs...please help..thank you

So the Pictus had ich at the time of purchase?

How long was he in your aquarium? I think a PWC would be a good preventive step. Just keep an eye on your other inhabitants just in case.

Do you know how to treat for ich?

I'd just keep an eye on everyone. I doubt in that little amount of time he was in the tank that any of the ich dropped off.
