Id on a brown fuzzy thing?

hello just was wondering what this thing was and if I should get it out of my tank or leave it. I seen it about 2 weeks ago, it looked like a small light colored ball and you could see a mouth or a hole in it and I just kept my eye on it and it started to get bigger and darker. Anyone have a clue? Sorry for the bad iphone pic.

It's about 1/2" long 3/8" wide now
