Id red bubble on my crab legs

Today I found a strange red bubble on my crab leg and that is freaking me out those anybody know what is this

Haha. Sorry that was funny crabs legs are like braces they can keep food attached to them for periods of time.. it's like having thanksgiving dinner on x mas night... in all seriousness I would pay much attention to it it's most likely food of some kind that s stuck to him that's decomposing.

Is an emerald crab

Looks like the inner exoskeleton. Am I correct in assuming it's a large crab or hasn't molted in some time?
