Hope you can help. I've been given this fish but have no idea how to best care for it. Is it a type of cichlid or some type of cold-water goldfish type thing? I'm not experienced with fish whatsoever. The person who owned him previously had kept him with goldfish and had no idea what sort of fish it was. The goldfish all died, and they wanted rid of this little fellow too so here we are.
He's a dark brownish grey colour with pale blue flecks visible when you look closely.
