I was listening to WEEI Boston, a sports talk show (mainly for the pats, bruins, sox and celtics, even though I hate the pats) and a jets fan called in.
By the time he hung up I thought, man, if someone from europe or canada or somewhere didn't know anything about the jets and their fans, they do now! He was the most pompous, name dropping, new yorker ive ever heard!!!!!

Are you kidding me? Steelers fans are ten times more obnoxious than any other team's fans. They ALWAYS have on their Steelers hats, Steelers jerseys, Steelers license plate, Steelers bumper sticker, they're so condescending and rude. I'm getting mad at Steelers fans just typing this and thinking about it.

And I lived right outside of Pittsburgh for a little bit and some of those fans were brutal. It was 2006 and one of the very few games the Jets won was against them. Grown men were screaming at me for repping the jets. In a hospital waiting room. Like total rage out lol. There are some jerk fans for most teams.

Well, I haven't watched football since I can't remember when. My only exposure to sports nowadays (since this IS a "northeast" thread) is the NYR (and the AHL Sound Tigers, which most of the kids I watched are now Islanders) and NASCAR. I simply have no time for anything else.

I think it is the same one. Supposed to be near me by 8 or 9 tonight but thanks to last nights crazy winds, I've got to escape the forum for a few hours and do an emergency tree removal. Same tree as before with a few issues and the homeowner finally is getting the real picture. They're tired of replacing fence sections one at a time ??. So it looks like another 36 hour day but hey, it's $$.
